Hellooo Wednesday ladies! Now that we are down to a few months before the wedding… we have pretty much all of our vendors taken care of! I’ve been getting a ton of questions regarding each one and if I can share so I thought that this would be the easiest way to share in one large space.
We’ve researched and really wanted to find vendors that fit our personal style and vision when it came to the big day but also that fit our budget! Everyones style and budget differ but I know you all love hearing recommendations so here is everyone we have decided on!
The Venue
So the first thing that we wanted to book was our venue! This really sets the precedent for the wedding and allows you to “envision” what your day will look like! Our venue is Sapphire Creek Winery (you can see their IG here!). We absolutely fell in love with this place the second we walked in. We did tour one other place beforehand which was White Birch Barn… which is also an absolutely stunning venue but we felt that Sapphire Creek was more “us”!
Luckily with Sapphire Creek, we have our caterer and our beverages handled! I think Alex was super excited about the food (obviously, his passion!) so I’m really happy that we have such an amazing meal for our guests. We had our tasting to narrow down what entrees and appetizers to do.. we were blown away with the food! Absolutely amazing. It even amazed Alex which is pretty hard to do.
The Dress
I went dress shopping for the first time back in August & fell in love with the first dress that I tried on! I went to The Dress Bridal Boutique in my hometown, Medina. I did a full blog post on my experience that you can read, here! You can see their Instagram, here.
We are headed back to find the Bridesmaid Dresses this upcoming weekend! Can’t wait for them to find the ones!
Photographer
Our photographer for the wedding is Marissa Camino Photography and we love her! She is actually a sweet friend of mine who I met a few years ago through family/friends and we hit it off. Her wedding photography is absolutely beautiful and I knew right when we got engaged, she was the girl I wanted to book! Her Instagram can be found, here.

Videographer
We fell in love with Image in Motion’s work based off of a good friends wedding a few years ago… they are just amazing!!!! My mom happened to be the photographer at their wedding and loved working with them so I knew it would be a great fit. Their style was exactly what we are going for, too! DJ/Entertainment
For the DJ, I had so many of y’all recommend Cleveland Music Group! After looking over all of their DJ’s that were still available for our wedding day, we went with DJ London Bridges. We’re both so excited for this and think he’ll be the perfect fit. I basically described to them that I wanted a high-energy DJ that would make sure everyone was on the dance floor the entire night!! 🙂 Their Instagram is here!
Florist
I recently (within the last couple of weeks) have met our florist! I found Countryside Florist on theknot.com and set up a consultation. After meeting with her, I knew we had to book her ASAP. She knew exactly what I was envisioning and I loved that she took the time to really get to know me and what I wanted for the wedding. Very excited to work with them for the wedding day!
Cake
My bonus mama is making our cake for us for the wedding day! She has been making my sisters and I cakes for our birthdays for years and she’s always going above and beyond. She offered to make the cake for us so we of course said we would love it. We are doing a naked cake with some white peonies and eucalyptus on there. We’ve had a few trials (literally SO yummy!!!), I can’t wait to see the final product!
Hair Day Of
My hairstylist is doing all of our hair the day of for the wedding and I am so HAPPY! I absolutely love her!! Nicole Alessandro is her name and her Instagram Page is here. She does my extensions, cut and color every 6 weeks and always nails it with the soft waves. I’m thinking something soft and wavy with a half up kind of vibe. Since I have fine hair I do want some volume for the day!
Makeup Artist
I finally decided on a makeup artist for the day of and I couldn’t be more excited! I went with MKleinman Artistry and I’m getting my makeup done by Maggie. She is so talented and her work is amazing. Here is her Instagram account, here!
Vendors We’re Currently Booking
There are a few vendors that we are still booking / haven’t fully committed to, yet! These include:
- Linens (tablecloths, napkins, etc.)
- Chairs for our ceremony (almost booked, still deciding!)
For the most part, we are basically finished with all of the vendors! Just finishing up last minute things like the linens. We know where we are getting them from but I’ll share all the details once it’s fully booked and we’ve decided! I’ll keep updating this blog post so everything is in one spot. xo
