Happy November! I cannot believe how fast 2015 has been flying by…. it seems like yesterday it was NYE. The weather couldn’t be any more perfect going into November… the temperatures are reaching 70 this week. The sunshine has been out all day long and it’s been a breath of fresh air. It’s not hot and not chilly enough to be cold yet but just the right temperature to spend the afternoon outside. Best part of this weather…. the layers!
I know, I know… another trench coat. I can’t get enough of these sleeveless jackets. They are seriously perfect for layering and adding some knits underneath. This one is actually a “belted trench dress” but I wanted to style it with layers underneath to show it’s versatility. It can easily be a trench dress with a chunky knit underneath and some knee high boots thrown on (how adorable)! I may style it like that soon enough. I am loving all the neutrals paired together so chances are I’d love my OTK boots with this piece. I love stripes to I had to add that pattern into the mix.
I hope you all had an amazing Halloween! I’ve been loving looking through all of the photos on the internet. It was such a fun day spent with family and I’m so happy to have been able to. I feel so blessed to have come from the family I’m a part of. My sister made a cute little Mal (from the Disney movie “Descendants”… I hope I spelled that right)! She had so much fun trick-or-treating and I’m glad I had the chance to take her again! Have a great start to your week and stay tuned later this week for my first “Gift Guide” for the season! Xoxo
