The last time I wore this high-to-low skirt, I dressed it down casually. I thought I’d give it a different look with dressing it up a bit! This white button down from Gap, is a great plain top to throw on when you have either bright, or patterned bottoms. Since the skirt is more on the high-waisted side, I decided not to button the bottom two buttons, and tied it to meet the skirt.
I love button-downs when they’re tied, it gives off a casual look, but the skirt still makes the whole ensemble dressy.
I threw on this gold chain necklace, so that these heels would be more incorporated into this. The bottom platform of the heel is gold.
It was a hot one! Don’t mind my messy waves… the humidity was to blame! Thankfully all of these pieces are very light, so even in the hot weather, this is very easy to wear.

The raspberry clutch is the perfect pop of color, even with the solid skirt. I love these two colors together. The dress I recently posted was almost the same color, and I paired that too with this clutch. I’m getting more use out of it than I thought I would when I first bought it! Halfway through the work week.. only a few more days until the weekend! I hope you all make the best of it. 🙂
