Happy September! Yay for (almost being) fall! Lace will always be one of my favorite classic pieces to play into my wardrobe. It’s so delicate and feminine and easy to dress up or down! This lace kimono was the perfect item to step up this look. Earlier in the Summer I had paired it with the same pieces but shorts swapped out for these jeans. Now that it’s closer to Fall, I decided to use it as a transition look for getting into the seasons spirit. I’m dying for the cooler weather. These humid days have me exhausted! It might help if I lived closer to home… aka the pool. 🙂 But for now, I’m going to mix some fall items into my summer wardrobe to help me get through!
When I mix detailed pieces into a look, I tend to pair with with simple items to keep the focus on them. I love this basic tank and it’s silhouette. It’s perfect for a night out, dinner date or just a girls night out. The distressed denim gives off the ‘weekend vibe’ I am always going for while the heels play it up which makes for the perfect dinner date (which is exactly what I wore it for!). There is the most adorable little pizza shop in my hometown, which is called Courthouse Pizza. It’s all pizza by the slice, and I’m not kidding guys… best slice of pizza I’ve ever had! Halfway through the week which means the holiday weekend is right around the corner, which makes for one happy girl! I hope you’re all having amazing weeks.. filled with plenty of coffee to get by!
