With Thanksgiving being around the corner (tomorrow!) I thought I would do an inspiration post on how to dress for the occasion. Any excuse for me to dress up, well, is good enough for me. I love taking the time to plan a well-thought-out outfit. The gorgeous jacket and floral, monochromatic scarf are both pieces from Charlotte Russe. This jacket is now my go-to. Not only does it go with everything, it dresses it up, which I was in need of! A lot of my coats are so laid-back, I didn’t have one to wear when I felt like being dressy.
So here is a great outfit to wear while you are out and about visiting with your loved ones tomorrow. This jacket is so cozy and the scarf will keep your neck warm. These mustard colored pants can be a hit or miss depending on whom you’re talking to. I, personally, am a huge fan of the color. Perfect for tomorrow! I brightened up my bag choice with this Michael Kors clutch, perfect for the essentials I’ll be carrying around.

I am going home this morning and I can’t wait to see my family! Even though I don’t live too far away it feels like life gets in the way of visiting as much as I would like to. I hope you all have a lovely Thanksgiving! Take a moment to really be thankful for everything you have, I know I have to remind myself to do this quite often, it’s easy to get caught up in the things that don’t matter.
