Brooklyn Girl

More New York photos! We had an hour or two to explore Brooklyn, (which I never had the chance to do!) so I was really excited to see what it has to offer. Like I mentioned in my last NY post, Tim’s parents recently moved to a different part of Brooklyn, and it is absolutely beautiful. The streets are all lined with trees, the homes are gorgeous and there are flowers everywhere! It was fun to just walk around and explore different neighborhoods. Tim snapped all of these photos of me…and I have to admit I was a bit impressed. 😉

This blouse, from Figleaf here in Kent, is one of my favorites! I love the contrast with the color, it makes it more unique. I wore just a black bra underneath this sheer blouse, so it peeped through. It wasn’t too dramatic or anything, especially since I paired this with black shorts.
Basic jewelry, but I wanted to add a fun bag! I went with my Michael Kors snake-skin.
Since we were doing a lot of walking around I wanted to wear comfortable shoes. I went with these Aeropostale high tops! The studs added some flare to this ensemble.
I spotted these stairs and thought they were stunning. Turns out, I was wearing the perfect colors for them too! Brooklyn has beautiful landscapes to offer.
You can see I’m wearing my usual promise ring, but I’ve recently purchased two more rings from Cyclical Industry! The rose gold is a hammered ring, and then on my other hand I have the V. They are both great, and I definitely recommend checking some out for yourself! Great for everyday.
Flower stands at every corner! I had to snap a few photos of them.
I love candid shots!

Usually I would be ecstatic that today is Friday…but I am finding myself more and more stressed as this day goes on. This semester is going to be a busy one! Good thing a friend’s birthday is today and we’re going out tonight to celebrate, which hopefully will be a stress reliever. Happy Labor Day Weekend, by the way!

These shoes are better than I expected. It is pretty wide around the toe area so I don't feel like my toes are crunched. I would definitely recommend them.
